Review of first preparatory seminar

The first preparatory seminar in Augsburg, from January 23 to January 25, 2015, beautifully resonates in my heart and I’m so thankful and encouraged that I’d like to give you a short review.

Math. 18:20: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I’m in the midst of them.”

If we can truly witness His presence in our midst, we are gripped and amazed and respond with worship to the beauty and fascination of His being.

You can hardly imagine a more beautiful place for a preparatory seminar than the Jeremia-Werk in Augsburg. You move from a beautiful worship and seminar room into a cozy living room areal with big dining tables, couches and seats in front a the fireplace. From there you get to the neat rooms, which are very inviting and comfortable. What a blessing. It was very easy to plunge into fellowship with God and each other, to swim together in the river that God allows to flow from His throne room in times like these, exactly the way it had already been during the first worship tour in Israel. We started Friday evening with an extended time of waiting before the Lord and laid our hearts before Him for this weekend together. Afterwards, each participant had ample room to introduce themselves and share their hearts with the others.

In many conversations we got to know each other and thus erected one of the important pillars for the trips – good relationships on the basis of unity in the Lord.

There was great liberty among us. Each participant felt free to share spiritual impressions, and in turn, the leaders in their wisdom and fear of the Lord gave room to react to the things the Spirit of God put before us. He gave us tears of conviction. He gave healing and joy. He gave knowledge and insight and revealed His plans and key topics for this first preparatory seminar.

In the teaching sessions we fellow workers pondered topics that bring us, as a travelling worshipers to Israel, more and more in sync with God’s heart, that renew and deepen our understanding of worship, that challenge and question us with regard to our view on God’s Chosen People, the Jews, and the criteria God has for his sovereign choosing.

Finally, we also discussed the next practical steps concerning the travel plans for 2015. We trust in Him and will certainly see how God will thread the final dates on both sides (Germany and Israel) in the network of months and how He will also distribute us as worshipers and local Messianic brothers and sisters to these different travel times and local groups. Like Sybille Kurowski said to all on the first night of the seminar: HE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT! – Amen

I also want to point out that it is really important for the overall development to receive and read the Kleinfaxes that Arni sends. He often refers to how God sees this vision and brings it into existence so that the place He longs for is re-erected, a place where God can dwell in the midst of his people, in Israel and in all Nations, where He finds those, after which His eyes scan the globe, those who worship Him in truth and in spirit.

John 4:23 “There But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
