The Faithful Galileans
Kibbutz Beit Zera – Galilee, Israel
PRAY. STAY. LEARN. SERVE.
An experiential and educational experience in the Galilee!
PRAY. STAY. LEARN. SERVE. is an ongoing program, available throughout the year, welcoming individuals, couples, and small teams from the nations to come and be salt and light in the Galilee.
The Four Pillars
| PRAY | Lead and join prayer and worship shifts at the Vertical Galilee House of Prayer. |
| STAY | On-site accommodations in shared rooms, private rooms, and couple’s rooms at Kibbutz Beit Zera. |
| LEARN | Weekly excursions to Biblical and historical sites, morning devotions, connections with local congregations, and a rotating roster of guest teachers. |
| SERVE | Opportunities to serve with the Aliyah Return Center, Kehilat Poriya, community events, the soup kitchen, and wherever the Lord opens doors. |
A Typical Week
A week at The Faithful Galileans often begins with Sunday morning devotions with Chaim Malespin, followed by the week’s full schedule: prayer and worship watches at the Vertical Galilee House of Prayer, an introduction to the week’s guest teacher, a day trip to a biblical or historical site, service projects, and share Shabbat dinner plans. Saturday is kept as a restful Shabbat, yours to enjoy.
Vertical Galilee House of Prayer (VGHOP)

In the Vertical House, the Vertical Galilee House of Prayer (VGHOP) is a room dedicated to worship and prayer. It is our vision to see daily worship and prayer rising like incense from this place. You can be a part of this holy calling. Everyone who joins the Pray. Stay. Learn. Serve. program will have the opportunity to schedule a weekly (or more) prayer watch in the VGHOP.
Also in this space we will be host the Kehilat Poriya service every Friday afternoon from 3:30pm – 5:30 PM.

Visa and Commitment
- Most nationalities may enter Israel on a tourist visa for up to three months. Visa requirements vary by country — visit gov.il for details.
- An ETA visa must be booked and approved before purchasing flights: israel-entry. piba.gov.il. For travel purpose, choose “tourist”.
- Don’t be surprised if you are questioned at the border. Israel is at a heightened security level due to the war.
- Also upon arrival, do not say that you are coming to volunteer. You would need to apply for a volunteer visa to be classified as a volunteer in Israel. You will be entering on a tourist visa, so when they ask for the purpose of your trip, you can tell them that you are joining an educational and experience program in the Galilee that includes day trips, teaching, and prayer.
- Please be advised that the granting of entry is strictly at the discretion of the border authorities, and the organization bears no liability or responsibility for any denial of entry.
