Since February 2014, my wife and I have worked with a relief organization among Holocaust survivors in Israel. Our daily life here is very different from how we grew up in Germany.
The first worship tour with our group of 14 people included ten precious days, from November 23 through December 2. We went to be selfless before God and serve Him, without knowing beforehand what it would entail and with the simple goal to present to the Lord for His sake our undivided hearts.
When I decided to take part in this trip, I didn’t know what to expect. I still cannot couch the things that happened in Israel and also after the trip. I am more than overwhelmed by how God has revealed himself to me and how He has worked in my life.
In all this preparation for this trip and during the time I got a very strong impression of peace and secureness. And because of all things that might have been difficult and out of control.
